Dear Friends,
I hope your first month of 2021 started well, and with energy for the ongoing struggle to contain COVID-19. In case you missed the 2020 National Virtual Learning Event on Child Protection, and/or the presentations, I’m pleased to share a copy herein.
The 2020 National Virtual Learning Event on Child Wellbeing took place from 25 – 26 Nov 2020 and was co-hosted by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development and the National Child Protection Working Group (NCPWG) guided by the theme “Child wellbeing during and Post COVID-19 Context in Uganda”.
The event brought together a blend of professionals including researchers, practitioners, representatives of Civil Society Organisations to discuss ‘emerging issues on children’s survival, development, protection, participation, and strengthening systems for child wellbeing during and post COVID-19 pandemic’.
Download the Voice Recorded presentation or the Powerpoint Presentation. Also, you can download a copy of the report from Child Wellbeing Learning Event website.
I hope the year 2021 re-energises us to boldly strive to leave no child behind – starting with the farthest first.
