B – CONCLUDED PROJECTS (Direct Service Provision and Research Projects)
- 2019: Consultations for the ‘Call it what it is campaign’. A partnership between RLP and Women’s Initiative for Gender Justice (WIGJ) as part of developing a Civil Society Declaration on SV which presents a broad view on how to interpret the concept of SV, based primarily on consultations with self-identified survivors. It blends a multitude of experience to provide guidance on what may constitute an ‘act of sexual nature’ and to indicate when an ‘act of sexual nature’ may become an ‘act of sexual violence’, and a critical reference point on SV in a way that is survivor-centric, forward-looking, and contextually relevant.

- 2013-2016: Awareness raising and promotion of the rights of male refugees who are victims of sexual violence and combat stigma and discrimination in their communities. Funded by Fund for Global Human Rights. Project developed by a refugee-led male survivor group in Kampala with support of the Gender & Sexuality Programme (5,000 USD @year for 4 years).
- 2012-2013 – “From Exclusion to Inclusion: Bridging the Response Gap for Urban Refugee Survivors of Sexual and Gender based Violence.” Funded by Bureau of Population Refugee & Migration (BPRM 1). Total Project Budget spent $99,805.00 (Mar 2012 – Feb 2013).
